  • Health Data: Mood check-ins, craving levels, and relapse logs that you voluntarily submit.
  • AI Conversations: Messages you send to the AI Quit Coach for personalized support.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, session duration, and crash reports.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality
  • Track your quit-smoking progress and health recovery timeline
  • Generate personalized quit plans and recommendations
  • Power the AI Quit Coach with contextual support
  • Calculate achievements, streaks, and money saved
  • Send notifications and reminders (with your permission)
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the App

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using the following services:

  • Firebase Authentication: Managed by Google, handles secure sign-in.
  • Firebase Firestore: Cloud database for syncing your data across devices. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • AI Processing: Conversations with the AI Quit Coach are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. We do not store conversation logs beyond what is needed for the current session.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With Google (Firebase) and Anthropic (AI) to operate the App, under strict data processing agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

  • All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

ClearBreath is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
